IN AND OUT OF SEASON

IN and OUT of SEASON

I am reminded of the time when Spurgeon visited the Crystal Palace, before a Sunday of preaching, to check out the acoustics. He said in his loud powerful voice “Behold the Lamb of God which takes away the sin of the world”.
Unknown to him in a distant gallery were some workmen one of whom heard this text and was truely converted. Amen.*

This shows us that even a lone voice in a wilderness can produce some unexpected and unknown results and should encourage perseverance.

I have quoted this text before but it will bear repeating:-
He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
Ps 126 v 6

May God bless all who read any of these blogs especially any who are seeking salvation.
