REPENTANCE

Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. Acts 3 v 19

Repentance is not only necessary at our conversion, so that we are saved by God’s Free Grace and our sins are blotted out, forgiven and the guilt and punishment dealt with by the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ on the Cross at Calvary, but repentance, godly sorrow for our sins, is part of the Christians daily walk of Faith.
We as Christians have a continual battle against the "old nature" and we are never free from sin in this life, so repentance is part of our daily walk. We reflect upon our life, our acts and omissions and where we fall short of God’s standards we repent, that is change our actions, our attitudes and our hearts disposition towards those sins.
Is Repentance part of your daily walk with God?

What will Follow repentance?
Times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord. Amen
How refreshed is your spiritual life? When did you last have a broken and contrite heart, God will not despise it.
Is your spiritual life being undermined by a lack of a humble and contrite heart?
Amen
