Christmas Weather

Hi all,
Been a while, too long, since I posted anything.
The weather here in the UK has been bad for us as you no doubt have heard on the news.
I greatly enjoyed the Westminster Conference although I was somewhat tired and caught some kind of flu, which I have not fully shaken off yet.
Never the less, the Lord is good to us, and by his mercy we have been able to go out and come in without any accidents.
Coming to the end of another year it’s good to reflect on how our gracious Lord has led us, to give him grateful praise for His past mercies and sue him for continued mercies in the coming New Year.
2010 has been a hard year for many with the failure of the economic situation, the disappearance of many jobs, and the tough decisions that have had to be made. The future holds still more hard times and difficult situations, but for those who delight themselves in the Lord, while not being in any way immuned for the normal circumstances of the world in which we live, can rest with patience in the Lord’s goodness and look to him by faith in every circumstance that we find ourselves in.
“Our Times our in His Hands” and only a fool would wish them to be anywhere else.
“Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.” Ps. 27:14
“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” Is. 40:31
“And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.” Luke 12:36
May you all, as you wait on the Lord, have a blessed Christmas and a prosperous New year in which you actively seek and promote the coming of the Lord.
